“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”

ANSEL ADAMS
“There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.”
ERNST HASS
“Black and white are the colors of photography. They symbolize the alternatives of hope and despair to which mankind is subjected.”

Edwin HawthornPhotographer
Edwin Photography relies on the images to do the talking and for clients to spread the word.
Edwin stumbled upon the art of photography by chance when an employer expected of him and his staff compliment to familiarize themselves with the basic principles of photography. The bug bit him big time and the rest is history!
He bought his first used camera and set out to capture some beauty in life. Looking at life through the view finder helped him to gain a fresh perspective on living life fully while expressing the inner self.
Nature photography featured as his first subject but soon changed to the capturing of people and their beauty in the studio, at weddings and events in particular. There is nothing more beautiful than a well taken and detailed portrait.
Please enjoy the few photos offered here and dare to celebrate what is right in our world!
